Memories
Christine Lindstrom sister-in-law, aunt March 18, 2012
He was always a little crazy...  that's what made him so much fun to be around but ultimately so alone.  I can't imagine him gone since his joyous spirit and funny stories were so much a part of our lives.  He touched me with his generosity, his intelligence, his compassion and commitments.  He was faithful, fun, fearless and fortunate.  He was/is, and always will be a very strong presence in our lives.  Love and prayers to you, Barbara, for enduring more than just the loss of a husband but of a hope and a future and to all the Walsh children and their children...
Andria Lewis My Teacher March 18, 2012
So sorry to the Walsh family for their loss. My prayers are with you all. Brother Walsh was my Sunday School teacher for many years in 2nd ward. He was the only teacher that could put up with our class! He made it fun, and was always happy to see each one of us. He never would give up on us. My love is with you all. I am sure that my mom was among those that welcomed him with open arms.
Nancy Eide The Shining Star March 18, 2012
I sat back and watched the people as their day went by.  One man walked around then sat, alone.  He didn't talk to anyone; he just sat at the table.  Ah, one like me.  I rose from the couch and sat at the table with him.  "Hi", whatcha doing?  His eyes brightened as we began small talk.  I introduced myself extending my hand; " I am Nancy", a small smile and that is when I met Russ.  Just over a week ago.  Two tender hearts broken and in for repair.  We talked volumes.  A lifetime in just a short time.  I learned about his family.  He told me stories that brightened his eyes.  His grand-children and his little angel in Heaven.  I told him she would dance among the stars with my two sons.  I met a brilliant man.  One who loved and lost.  One like any other who had many plans to fix many regrets.  No matter his faults.... to me.... he will always be Russ, my friend.  I will truly miss him, his wise words, and his childish mischievous ways.

To the Walsh Family .... he loved all of you so very much !!!!!
